t2 THE MOTOR VEHICLES (ARUNACHAL PRADESH AMENDMENT) ACT, 1987 (ACT NO. OF 1988) AN ACT further to qmend the Motor Vehicles Act, in its opplicotion to the Stdtc of Arunqchal Pradcsh. BE it enacted by the Legislative Assembly of Arunachal Pradesh in the Thirt)-eighth Year of the Republic of lndia as lollows:-- (l) TIis Act may be called the Motor Vehicles (Arunachal Pradesh Amendment) Act, 1987. (2\ It extends to the $'hole of thc State of Arunachal Pradesh. (3)

In the Motor Vehicles Act, 1939 (Central Act 4 of 1939) in its application to the State of Arunachal Pradesh (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), in sulr-section (3) of Section ll0"-- (i) in clause (c) the words "or" shall bc added at the end : (ii) after clause (c) the following clause shall be iDserted, namely :-"(d) is a Deputy Commissioner or Additional Deputy Commissioner of a District. Explonation .'- For the purpose of this sub-section, the expression 'Additional Deputy Commissioner' means an Extra-Assistant Commissioner (Selection Grade) desiSDated as Additional Deputy Commissioner."
