THE ARUNACHAL PRADESH SPEAKER AND DEPUTY SPEAKER SALARIES AND ALLOWANCES (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2020. (ACT NO. 8 OF 2020) AN ACT

further to amend the Arunachal Pradesh Speaker and Deputy Speaker Salaries and Allowances Act, 1983

(Act No. 7 of 1983).

1. (2) Itshall be deemed to have come into force with effect from 1st April, 2020.

In the Arunachal Pradesh Speaker & Deputy Speaker Salaries and Allowances Act, 1983, after section 3, the following section shall be inserted, namely:- "3A. Notwithstanding anything contained in section 3, the salary payable to the Speaker and Deputy Speaker, under Section 3 shall be reduced by thirty percent, for a period of one year commencing from 1st April, 2020, to meet the exigencies arising out of Corona Virus (Covid-19) pandemic".
