BE it enacted by the Legislative Assembly ofArunachal Pradesh in the Seventy First year of

the Republic of India as follows:-

1. (1) This Act may be called theArunachal Short title and commencement Pradesh Salaries andAllowances of Ministers (Amendment)Act,2020.

1. (2) Itshall be deemed to have come into force with effect from 1% April, 2020.

In the Arunachal Pradesh Salaries and Allowances of Ministers Act, 1983, after section 3, the following section shall be inserted, namely:- "3A. Notwithstanding anything contained in section 3, the salary payable to the Chief Minister, Deputy Chief Minister, Ministers (including Leader of Opposition), Minister of State and Deputy Ministers under Section 3 shall be reduced by thirty percent, for a period of one year commencing from 1st April, 2020, to meet the exigencies arising out of Corona Virus (Covid-19) pandemic".
