This law amends the existing Re-Organisation of Districts Act to create two new administrative districts in Arunachal Pradesh. It designates specific villages and administrative units from the existing West Kameng, East Kameng, and Lower Subansiri districts to form a new district called Bichom, with its headquarters at Napangphung. Additionally, it establishes a new district named Keyi Panyor, with its headquarters at Yachuli, by transferring areas from the Lower Subansiri District. This reorganisation aims to improve local governance and administration by decentralising services to these newly formed regions.

- 2. Amendment of Section 3 : In the Arunachal Pradesh (Re-Organisation of Districts) Act, 1980 (Act No. 3 of 1980), (hereinafter referred to as the Principal Act) after sub-section (3) the following sub-section shall be inserted namely,-
