    • (a) to prc.scr.ihe and liruit rhc powers and duties of the Anchat Sumit! and Zilla Parishad and rhe Forest Departrnei~t Oficcrs who will manage the AnchaI Reserve Forest ;
    • (b) for tlie preservntion, reproduction and dispo- sal of tites and tiit~ber and other forest produce iu the Aochal Reserve Forest ;
    • (c) regulating or prohibiting, bunting, shooting, carrying firearms, fishing,, poisoning of water or letting trap1 or rnarrs ;
    • (d) to provide for the ejectment of any person who has cncroachcd upon forest reserves ; and
    • (e) for protecliou, advancement, treatment and management of local people and to specify their rights. 1. Short title and commencement
  3. (1) This Act may be called the Arunachal Pradesh Anchal Forest Reserve (Constitution and Maintenance) Amendment Act, 1981.
  4. (2) It shall come into force at once. 2. Amendment of section 2 In the Arunachal Pradeah Anchal Forcsl Re~ervc ( Constitution nad Maiutenatlce:) Act, 1975 ( hereinafter referred to as the principal Act ), in sub-neetion It) of section 2,-
    • (a) after claute
    • (c) the folIowing clause nhall bc inserted namely :- "(cc) "prcscrjbcd" means prescribed by rules mado undcr section 6 ' "
    • (b) after clausc
    • (d) the following clause mhall bt inserted namely :- "(dd) "villagun means a villa~e as defined under clause
      • (xii) of section 2 of the NEFA P a nchagrt Raj Regulation, 1967 :"
    • (c) the existing clauue
    • (f) uhali be omitted. 3. Amendment of section 3 In section 3 of the principa1 Act, for rub-scc- Amend- lion (2). the followjng shall be tubstitutcd, namely :- "(2) All lands, where forcst plantations cnn be raiwd, shril be constituted into Anchal Forert Resmrvca.' ' 4. Amendment of section 5 In section 5 or the principal Act,- Amend- ment of section 5.
    • (a) for the words "Zilla Parishad", wherover they occur, tho WOI-d '-villa&' shall bt substituted ;
    • (b) in clause (i} tho word "be" shaI1 bc inwrted rfitr the ward "hereinafter" and before the words "referred" ;
    • (c) in claure
      • (vi) the following proviso shull ba added rt the end, namely :- '' Provided that 50' pmr cent of such amount shall bs utiliscd for tlic development act ivitics of thc village concenied in such manner and by such authority as may bc proscribed ;" (d) the ;existing da~isa'~(vi'i)' shall bc omitted. 5. Amendment of section 6 In sub-rectian
