Repeal and Savings

(1) The Andhra Pradesh Tahsildars and Deputy Tahsildars (Construction of References) Act, 1985 (Act 15 of 1985) is hereby repealed. (2) Upon such repeal,- (a) any reference to Tahsildar or Deputy Tahsildar construed as the Mandal Revenue Officer in any law, rules, regulations, bye-laws, notifications or schemes under the repealed Act shall be construed as Tahsildar or as the case may be the Deputy Tahsildar; (b) the provisions of section 8 of the Andhra Pradesh General Clauses Act, 1891 (Act 1 of 1891) shall apply.
