The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (Amendment) Act, 2005

1. (1) This Act may be called the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (Amendment) Act, 2005.
2. (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 6th June, 2005.

In section 4 of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education Act, 1988 in sub-section (1),-

1. (1) under the heading I Full Time Members, for item
   • (ii) , the following item, shall be substituted, namely:- “(ii) two Vice Chairmen”.
2. (2) under the heading II Ex-officio Members, after item (iv), the following item, shall be added namely:- “(v) the Vice Chancellors of the Osmania University, Andhra University, Sri Venkateswara University, Sri Krishnadevaraya University, Acharya Nagarjuna University, Kakatiya University and Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.”.

-1 3. The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (Amendment) Ordinance, 2005 is hereby repealed.
