Preamble

1. Short title

1. (1) This Act may be called the Andhra Pradesh Rashtra Karshaka Parishad and Allied Bodies (Amendment) Act, 1989. 2. Amendment of section 4, Act 32 of 1988 In section 4 of the Andhra Pradesh Rashtra Karshaka Parishad and Allied Bodies Act, 1988 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), in sub-section (2), in clause (1);-
   • (i) sub-clause
   • (a) shall be omitted;
     • (ii) for sub-clause (b), the following shall be substituted, namely:- "(b) to review and to monitor progress periodically against the programme targets;"

3. Amendment of section 5 -1 3. In section 5 of the principal Act, in sub-section (2), clause

1. (v) shall be omitted.
