Co-operative Society is situated.

Appointment of liquidator - (1) Where a Co-operative Society is to be

dissolved and no liquidator is appointed by the General Body or the Tribunal,

the Registrar may,-

1. (a) appoint any person as a liquidator to wind up the affairs of the Co-operative Society; or
2. (b) where he is satisfied that the Co-operative Society has no assets and liabilities issue a certificate of dissolution.

1. (2) The appointing authority shall fix the payment to the liquidator for his services.
