The Andhra Pradesh Lokayukta and Upa Lokayukta (Amendment) Act, 1987

Short title and commencement.—(1) This Act may be called the Andhra Pradesh Lokayukta and Upa-Lokayukta (Amendment) Act, 1987.

1. (2) It shall be deemed to have come into force on the 5th November, 1987.

Amendment of section 3.—In the Andhra Pradesh Lokayukta and Upa-Lokayukta Act, 1983 (Act 11 of 1983), in section 3, for sub-section (2), the following sub-section shall be substituted, namely:—

1. (2) Every person appointed as the Lokayukta or Upa-Lokayukta shall, before entering upon his office, make and subscribe before the Governor, or some person appointed in this behalf by him, an oath or affirmation in the form set out in the First Schedule.
