Andhra Pradesh Language Pandits Grade-II (Regulation of Scale of Pay) Act, 2004
The Andhra Pradesh Language Pandits Grade-II (Regulation of Scale of Pay) Act, 2004 regulates the compensation of Grade-II language teachers working in the state’s School Education Department. Under this legislation, Grade-II Language Pandits are entitled only to the pay scale assigned to their specific post, even if they hold or acquire qualifications required for higher Grade-I positions. By overriding prior court judgments, tribunal orders, and government directives, the law nullifies all outstanding legal claims by Grade-II teachers seeking Grade-I pay scales. This Act ensures pay is strictly linked to held positions rather than personal qualifications.
