The Andhra Pradesh Forest (Amendment) Act, 1997

Short title and commencement.—(1) This Act may be called the Andhra Pradesh Forest (Amendment) Act, 1997.

1. (2) It shall come into force at once.

Amendment of section 2.—In the Andhra Pradesh Forest Act, 1967 (hereinafter referred to as the principal Act), in section 2, after clause (o), the following clauses shall be added, namely:—

1. (p) "Government" means the State Government;
2. (q) "Notification" means a notification published in the Andhra Pradesh Gazette and the word 'notified' shall be construed accordingly.
