The Andhra Pradesh District Boards, Laws (Amendment) Act, 2001

1. (1) This Act may be called the Andhra Pradesh District Boards Laws (Amendment) Act, 2001.
2. (2) It shall come into force on such date as the State Government may, by notification, appoint.

In the Andhra Pradesh (Andhra Area) District Boards Act, 1920,

1. (1) section 74-B shall be omitted;
2. (2) in chapter III, in Part VI, the heading "Land cess" and sections 78 to 92 thereunder shall be omitted.

-1 3. In the Andhra Pradesh (Telangana Area) District Boards Act, 1955,

1. (1) sections 135 to 137 shall be omitted.
2. (2) in section 138, the proviso thereunder shall be omitted.

4. (1) clause
   • (e) shall be omitted.
