Statutory text
(1) The Andhra Pradesh (Andhra Area) Devadasis (Prevention of Dedication) Act, 1947 (Act XXXI of 1947) is hereby repealed. (2) On such repeal the provisions of sections 8 and 18 of the Andhra Pradesh General Clauses Act, 1891(Act 1 of 1891), shall apply.
