This Act amends the Andhra Pradesh Advocates' Welfare Fund Act, 1987 and the Andhra Pradesh Advocates' Clerks' Welfare Fund Act, 1992. It requires every vakalat filed before a court, tribunal or other authority to carry the welfare fund stamp, and a vakalat without the stamp is not valid. Vakalats filed by Government Law Officers are exempt, and the Government may compensate the fund for this exemption with an annual grant.
