Chapter VII PRIVILEGES AND DUTIES OF RECOGNISED SPORTS ORGANISATION
14. Privileges of recognised sports organisation.
Statutory text
- (1) Only a recognised sports organisation shall be eligible to receive grants or any other financial assistance from the Central Government.
- (2) A recognised sports organisation, receiving grants or any other financial assistance from the Central Government under sub-section (1) or from a State Government, shall be considered as a public authority under the Right to Information Act, 2005 (22 of 2005), with respect to utilisation of such grants or any other financial assistance.

15. Duties of recognised sports organisation.
Statutory text
A recognised sports organisation shall ensure that all its voting members and affiliate units, as applicable, complies with---
- (a) the International Charters and Statutes, as applicable, and shall exercise the rights, perform the duties and discharge the functions as specified therein; and
- (b) the provisions of this Act and the rules and regulations made thereunder.
