Chapter VI ADMISSION AND RESIDENCE OF STUDENTS
34. Every student of the University '[otherthan Act VI of

(36. (1) No person shall be
Admission to admitted to the pre - University
he-
- (i) has passed the Matriculation examination; or
- (ii) holds the Secondary School-Leaving
Certificate and has been declared eligible by the

- (iii) has passed an examination of any University or authority
- (iv) fulfills such other conditions as may be prescribed by the Syndicate.
- (2) No person shall be admitted to a course of study in the
- (i) has passed the *pre-University examination of the University or
- (ii) has passed an examination of any other University or authority
Syndicate.
- (3) No person shall be admitted to a course of study in the
- (i) has passed the relevant examination prescribed therefore by the Syndicate;
- (ii) has obtained such minimum percentage of marks in such
- (iii) fulfills such other conditions as may be prescribed by the Syndicate.

- (4) No person shall be admitted to any course study
- (i) has passed the entrance test prescribed thereof by the Syndicate ; and
- (ii) fulfills such other conditions as may be prescribed by the Syndicate.
- (5) Every candidate for a University examination
may think fit.
- (6) Students exempted from the provisions of sub

37. Notwithstanding anything contained in Section
