Chapter IV AMENDMENT IN THE RAJASTHAN EXCISE ACT, 1950

After the existing clause (1) and before the existing clause (2) of section 3 of the Rajasthan Excise Act, 1950 (Act No. 2 of 1950), hereinafter referred to as the principal Act, the following new clause shall be inserted, namely:- "(1-A) "Board" means the board established under section 4 of the Rajasthan Land Revenue Act, 1956 (Act No. 15 of 1956);".

In Section 9-A,-

1. (i) for the existing clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 9-A of the principal Act, the following clause shall be substituted, namely:- "(b) "to the Division Bench of the Board established under sub-section (1-A) of section 3, from any order passed by the Excise Commissioner under this Act otherwise than on appeal:";
2. (ii) in sub-section (3) and (4), for the existing expression "the Division Bench of the Rajasthan Tax Board", the expression "the Division Bench of the Board" shall be substituted.
