Chapter VII INFORMATION ON TOURISM

(1) Each and every owner or operator of the tourism trade whether registered under the provisions of this Act or not, shall be duty bound to furnish such statistical information or statistical data and at such intervals and in such form to such authority as may be prescribed.

Department of Tourism shall establish a comprehensive tourism database for the tourism sector in the state.

1. (2) The Department of Tourism shall, in respect of the data and information that it holds, progressively make the data and information available and accessible, through any means, to all the stakeholders.
2. (3) The Department of Tourism shall, to facilitate the tourist and to promote tourism sector,

encourage setting up of various systems and facilities like tourist information desks, centres etc. for dissemination of information on tourism.
