Chapter VI CERTAIN RESTRICTIONS

No person shall, in connection with a marriage, on any one day, prepare, or serve, distribute or provide for consumption, or cause to be prepared or served, distributed or provided for consumption, any foodstuffs prepared from or containing cereals or pulses or sweet for more than five hundred persons including the members of the family of such person.

(1) No person other than a party or parents of a party to a marriage shall give any present to a party or to the parents of a party to a marriage or to the person celebrating the marriage at the time of marriage or any other functon or ceremony connected with the marriage of such party.

1. (2) No party to a marriage or the parents of a party to a marriage or a person celebrating a marriage shall accept any presents prohibited by sub-section (1).
