Welfare and code of conduct and rules of conduct of the employees of educational institutions

1. (1) The Government may appoint a joint consultative committee, consisting of the representatives of the Government, managements and employees of educational institutions to deal with matters pertaining to welfare of those employees.
2. (2) The Government may, in consultation with the representatives of the employees of educational institutions, prescribe the code of conduct and duties of those employees.

The rules of conduct applicable to the employees of educational institutions, other than the employees of a private institution under the management of a charitable or religious institution, charitable or religious endowment or a wakf, shall be such as may be prescribed.
